Atorzux 80 Tablet is primarily prescribed to manage elevated cholesterol levels, significantly reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This medicine belongs to the statin class.
Atorzux 80 Tablet is utilised for the following purposes:
• Lowering high cholesterol levels (hypercholesterolemia)
• Reducing elevated triglyceride levels (hypertriglyceridemia)
• Managing mixed dyslipidemia, characterised by increased LDL and triglycerides
• Controlling homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia
• Preventing cardiovascular events like heart attacks and strokes
• Slowing the progression of atherosclerosis
• Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not alter or exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
• Ensure adherence to any dietary recommendations provided by your doctor.

Atorzux 80 Tablet contains atorvastatin (80 mg), functioning as follows:

• Cholesterol Reduction: This inhibition leads to decreased cholesterol levels in the bloodstream.

• Triglyceride Regulation: The medicine modulates triglyceride and VLDL synthesis, improving lipid balance.

This tablet is contraindicated during pregnancy.
The medicine is not recommended for breastfeeding women.

Missed Dose

Overdose
• Overdose symptoms may include diarrhoea, musculoskeletal pain, and nausea. Immediate medical attention is necessary if these symptoms present.
