Side Effects

Glynux M 3 Forte Tablet may exhibit several side effects, including:

• Nausea

• Vomiting

• Diarrhoea

• Abdominal pain

• Metallic taste

How it Works?

Glynux M 3 Forte Tablet contains the two active components:

• Metformin (1000 mg): Belonging to the biguanide class, metformin limits intestinal glucose absorption and hepatic glucose production while simultaneously improving insulin sensitivity, thereby sustaining glycaemic control.

• Glimepiride (3 mg): A medium-to-long-acting sulfonylurea, glimepiride functions by stimulating pancreatic beta cells to augment insulin secretion. Additionally, it enhances insulin utilisation by inhibiting hepatic gluconeogenesis and promoting peripheral glucose uptake.

Breastfeeding

Since both active components are excreted in human milk, avoiding this medicine while breastfeeding is advisable.

Caution is advised for patients with renal impairment; dosage adjustments may be necessary based on renal function. Contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease.
