How it Works?

Pregvance SR 300 Tablet contains natural micronised progesterone (300 mg), which acts in the body by:

• Stimulating the endometrium: Progesterone prepares the uterine lining (endometrium) for pregnancy by causing necessary secretory changes for embryo implantation.

• Supporting pregnancy: It maintains the endometrium during pregnancy, aiding foetal development.

• Inhibiting uterine contractility: Progesterone prevents excessive uterine contractions, potentially averting premature labour.

• Counteracting oestrogen: It mitigates the proliferative effects of oestrogen on the endometrium, thus reducing the risk of endometrial hyperplasia and cancer.

• Promoting breast development: Progesterone assists in the development of breasts and milk production.

• Suppressing LH surge: The hormone acts on the brain to suppress a surge in luteinising hormone, having an anti-ovulatory effect.
