Prolonox AM 50 Tablet is composed of two active ingredients:
• Amlodipine (5 mg): A calcium channel blocker that inhibits calcium ions from entering the heart muscle and blood vessels, leading to relaxation and widening of blood vessels.
• Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg): A beta-1 selective adrenoceptor blocking agent that relaxes blood vessels, slows the heart rate, and reduces the force of heart contractions, decreasing blood pressure and cardiovascular risk.
