How it Works?

Losanux AM Tablet contains two active components which act synergistically to reduce blood pressure

• Amlodipine (5 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, amlodipine functions by impeding the influx of calcium into the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels. This leads to vasodilation, reducing vascular resistance and effectively lowering blood pressure.

• Losartan (50 mg): Losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to its receptors, promoting vasodilation. Angiotensin II is known for causing vasoconstriction, thereby increasing blood pressure; losartan counteracts this effect by relaxing and widening the blood vessels.
