Cilnaren T Tablet is primarily used to manage high blood pressure, medically termed hypertension. The tablet belongs to the class of medicines known as antihypertensives.
Cilnaren T Tablet is prescribed for:
• Managing high blood pressure (hypertension)
• Reducing the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction)
• Preventing stroke and other cardiovascular complications
• Controlling chest pain associated with angina
• Swallow Cilnaren T Tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Maintain a consistent schedule by taking it at the same time each day.
• Do not discontinue use abruptly without consulting your doctor.

• Diarrhoea
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Fatigue
Cilnaren T Tablet comprises two active agents:
• Cilnidipine (10 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine inhibits calcium ions from entering vascular smooth muscle cells, resulting in the relaxation and dilation of blood vessels, thereby alleviating pressure on the cardiovascular system.
• Telmisartan (40 mg): This angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) impedes the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone responsible for vasoconstriction. By blocking this hormone, telmisartan facilitates blood vessel relaxation and lowers blood pressure, thereby improving circulation and reducing the heart's workload.

• Heart Conditions: This is advised against use in severe bradycardia, heart block, or cardiogenic shock as it may worsen cardiac function.
Daily Dosage
• Cilnaren T Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor, with dosage tailored to your specific condition and response.
Missed Dose
• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular regimen. Do not double the dose without consulting your doctor.
Overdose
• Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, lightheadedness, or significant drop in blood pressure. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.
