How it Works?

Renglipt M 1000 Tablet contains two active components, metformin and teneligliptin, which function as follows:

Metformin (1000 mg): This component decreases hepatic glucose production and lowers intestinal absorption of glucose. Moreover, it enhances insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation, thus improving the body's response to insulin.

Teneligliptin (20 mg): This is a DPP-4 inhibitor that stabilises incretin hormones, GLP-1 and GIP, essential for regulating postprandial blood sugar levels. By maintaining these hormones, teneligliptin boosts insulin secretion and reduces glucagon levels, leading to lower blood glucose levels.
