Voglizux M 0.3 Tablet SR is prescribed for:
• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Improvement of glycaemic control when diet and exercise are insufficient
• Control of fasting blood glucose levels
• Regulation of postprandial blood glucose levels
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid breaking, crushing, or chewing the tablet.
• Take the tablet at the same time to improve efficacy of the medicine.
• Do not discontinue the medicine without consulting your doctor.
Voglizux M 0.3 Tablet SR is taken orally.
The side effects of Voglizux M 0.3 Tablet SR include:
• Diarrhoea
• Nausea
• Vomiting

Voglizux M 0.3 Tablet SR comprises two active ingredients:
• Metformin (500 mg): This antidiabetic medication reduces hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal glucose absorption, and enhances insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation.
• Voglibose (0.3 mg): As an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, voglibose temporarily inhibits enzymes in the small intestine responsible for breaking down complex sugars into glucose, thus delaying glucose absorption and reducing postprandial blood glucose spikes.
