Uses

Renolsar 20 Tablet is employed for the following purposes:

• Management of high blood pressure in adults

• Reducing the risk of strokes and heart attacks

• Controlling blood pressure in children aged six years and above

• Utilised in combination with other antihypertensive agents when monotherapy is insufficient

Direction of Use

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not break or chew the tablet.

• Take the medicine at the same time each day.

• Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor.

How it Works?

Renolsar 20 Tablet contains olmesartan medoxomil (20 mg), which functions in the body by:

• Blocking Angiotensin II: Olmesartan inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to receptors on blood vessels, preventing vasoconstriction.

• Relaxing Blood Vessels: By blocking angiotensin II, it facilitates vasodilation, reducing blood pressure.

• Independent Mechanism: Olmesartan's efficacy is independent of the formation process of angiotensin II.

• NSAIDs: May reduce the effectiveness of olmesartan and increase renal risk.

• Diabetes: Use with aliskiren is not recommended for diabetic patients.
