Renpril 2.5 Tablet is a widely prescribed medicine for managing high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. It is classified within the group of medicines termed angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Renpril 2.5 Tablet is utilised for the management of:
• High blood pressure or hypertension

The use of Renpril 2.5 Tablet may result in common side effects such as:
• Dry cough

Renpril 2.5 Tablet contains ramipril (2.5 mg) which functions through the inhibition of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). This inhibition reduces the levels of angiotensin II, a compound that constricts blood vessels. Consequently, blood vessels relax and dilate, easing blood pressure and enhancing heart function.
Discontinue the tablet upon pregnancy confirmation and consult your doctor. This medicine may adversely affect the foetus.
Exercise caution and consult your doctor as this medication may pass into breast milk.
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Renpril 2.5 Tablet, as it may amplify sedative effects and side effects.
Caution is recommended especially with severe liver impairment.

• Hyperkalemia: Monitor blood potassium levels carefully as this tablet may elevate potassium levels.
Daily Dosage

Missed Dose
• If you miss a dose of this tablet, take it as soon as you remember.
