How it Works?

Sitanux M 500 Tablet contains two active components:

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): It is a DPP-4 inhibitor that enhances the levels of incretins, hormones that increase insulin synthesis and release from pancreatic beta cells and decrease glucagon secretion from pancreatic alpha cells.

• Metformin (500 mg): As a biguanide, it primarily decreases hepatic glucose production, reduces intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation.
